Retro Clutch Bag Wristlet Purse Vintage 1950s Patchwork Cotton Barkcloth Fabrics

This handbag with matching wrist strap features a 50s cute fawn on a baby pink background with little green grassy mounds and red and white fly agaric mushrooms below the deers feet. The panels on the left and right feature idyllic Fifties home scenes, including sideboard, window, painting, table lamp, cacti and atomic curtains. All framed within an abstract speckled painterly cotton barkcloth (which makes me think of snow) in tones of blue and green with black and white. Has a matching detachable strap with a silver chrome clip clasp.

Carefully constructed with firm interfacing to feel perfectly balanced in the hand and to give a great structure and body. Lovingly lined with a coated cotton red and white polka dot with a solid red double slip pocket for storing small items neatly such as a cell phone, cards, keys or lipstick. Can even be used as a passport holder too. Each compartment measures 10 cm wide by 15 cm deep. Opens from the top with a lovely smooth opening beige zip.

Measures 29 cm / 11.4" wide by 20 cm / 7.8" tall, and it is a lovely size to hold essential items for a day or evening out.
